Chautauqua-Wawasee invites you to apply to our highly esteemed, juried fine arts festival. To apply as an exhibiting artist, please complete enclosed application by July 20, 2016, or take advantage of the Early Bird Discount and submit your application prior to June 7, 2016.

  • Booth sizes – 12’x12’ – $125 per space / plus $25 application/administrative fee (per medium). EARLY BIRD PRICE — $100.00 per space / plus $25 application fee (application fee does not apply to pre-juried artists) if received by June 7, 2016.
  • Artists will be considered pre-juried if they were juried for the 2015 Oakwood Fine Arts Festival and will be displaying the same medium in the 2016 festival.
  • Artwork must be original in design and executed by the artist.
  • The artist must be present throughout entire festival.
  • Only juried artwork will be allowed to be exhibited.
  • Artist set-up on Saturday, August 27th beginning at 6:00 a.m. Booth must be set-up prior to show start.
  • Only one artist’s work may be displayed per booth.
  • All artists will transact their own sales and are responsible for complying with state and local sales tax regulations.
  • Exhibitors must have a white tent unless exempted by festival committee.
  • Special needs requests will be accepted but not guaranteed and will be determined by the Oakwood Art Festival Committee on a first come, first served basis. Additional charges may apply. Please contact the Art Festival Director in advance for any special needs or considerations.
  • The Oakwood Art Festival Committee reserves the right and responsibility to remove work not in compliance with the rules and regulations. Non-compliance may result in expulsion or refusal for future festival participation.
  • A wait list is selected from the jury’s scores in each category, and wait listed artists are invited as cancellations occur in that particular category. Wait list artists can be accepted up to and on the day of the show and will be notified by phone when a booth becomes available.
  • Cancellations must be made in written form and submitted by mail or email. Cancellations prior to July 7, 2016 will receive a full refund.  No refunds will be made for any act of God, local authority or weather related cancellations of the event.
  • Volunteer booth sitters will be available for your short term needs Volunteer booth sitters will provide you with breaks.
  • Booths accessible by vehicles for set-up and tear-down. All vehicles must be moved prior to start of the show.
  • Oakwood Fine Arts Festival takes place rain or shine. Indiana weather can be unpredictable, plan accordingly.
